Perhaps you have seen Linhasita listed as a cording material in fiber artwork. I use it in my adjustable wristbands and other micro macramé and kumihimo pieces. Brazilian-made Linhasita is a two ply waxed polyester string that comes in .5 or 1 mm thicknesses and many colors. One of the reasons I love it is its durability. While some fibers such as hemp or cotton wear out quickly, Linhasita has lasting power. It tolerates water, weather, and gentle washing. See photos for colors now available for custom orders.
